CARL came to us, with his brother Billy when his original owners were evicted from their home. He was so aggressive that he was thought quite unhomeable and sent off to a farm to control rodents. However, next morning, when we went to see how he was he was so terrified that he was brought back and eventually went to a long term foster home which he shares with Gloria and other cats.

MARY turned up in a stable at Christmas, hence her name. She was a rather unfriendly cat who disliked being confined and often disappeared for long periods at a time. She now lives in the garden of one of our fosterers, sleeping in her own special pen. She is less grumpy these days, condescending to flea treatment and knot cutting, but she still cannot be picked up and refuses to enter the house.
